1. BenCab Museum

Located along Asin Road, this famous museum showcases the works of National Artist Benedicto Cabrera, also known as BenCab. It features a collection of his artwork, ranging from drawings and paintings to sculptures and installations. It also houses a gallery of traditional Cordilleran artifacts, including wood carvings and textiles.

2. Museo Kordilyera

The Museo Kordilyera is another attraction worth visiting. This ethnographic museum features a variety of artifacts showcasing indigenous tribes residing in Northern Luzon. Discover unique objects obtained from the Kalingas, Bontocs, Ifugaos, and other Cordilleran tribes.

Museo Kordilyera is located inside the University of the Philippines and has three floors filled with interesting and one-of-a-kind artifacts. Before you head out, drop by their cafe for a quick snack or bring home a memento from their souvenir shop.

3. Baguio Museum

This museum is dedicated to preserving Baguio’s culture, history, and heritage. Its architectural design takes inspiration from traditional Ifugao homes that primarily use wood and stone materials.

4. Bell House Library Museum

The Bell House Library Museum in Camp John Hay was established by General J. Franklin Bell. It also served as a rest lodge for the Commanding General of the Philippines. If you have time to spare, visit the Bell Amphitheater and the Cemetery of Negativity, which are both central to the rich history of Camp John Hay.

5. Tam-awan Village

This outdoor museum is situated in a lush pine forest at the edge of Asin Road. The village showcases several traditional huts, or kamaligs, providing an insight into the history of the various indigenous groups in Baguio.

6. Ili-Likha Artist Village

Eric de Guia, a film director and author who also goes by the name Kidlat Tahimik, brought Ili-Likha to life as an ode to Filipino cinema. The intricate treehouse, which took over 10 years to complete, was crafted entirely out of recyclable materials.

Ili-Likha Artist Village also has a flower shop, a small theater, and food stalls that offer healthy and reasonably priced meals. Art aficionados can attend and discover its one-of-a-kind exhibits and events.

7. SLU Museum of Igorot Cultures & Arts

SLU Museum is a great place to learn all about the Cordilleras. It offers lectures and orientations that promote museums all across the Cordillera Region. Among the artifacts in the collection are Igorot dwelling constructions, agricultural and food-gathering tools, loom weaving equipment, weaponry, carpentry supplies, potteries, and Chinese porcelain.
